About Our Bags
Each of our bags are custom made so that no two are alike! We personally hand sew each bag with attention to every detail to make sure you have a product that you are proud to carry.
Our signature feature is the removable carrying strap that is also easily removable so that it doubles as your yoga strap in class.
Most of our materials are sourced from bolt-ends and remnants meaning we buy materials that might otherwise end up in landfills. Similarly, a lot of our trims come from our family's personal sewing stashes so we love that we can up-cycle those!

About Us
We are two creatives (one young, one old) that wanted a way to show our yoga mat some love! We were tired of carrying our precious yoga mats in something that looked like a bag chair. ....and as they say...the rest is history! Mat Wrappers was born!
In addition to creating groovy yoga mat bags, we also have day jobs that we love. McKinsey (the young creative) is a RYT200-hour yoga teacher with an additional 20 hours in trauma sensitive training. Julie (the old one) is a Fashion Merchandising Professor at The Ohio State University.
We come from the same creative family and in fact think our family matriarch is the "original" Martha Stewart! We love shopping for the beautiful fabrics and trims for our bags and hope you will like the finished, unique products as much as we do.
